Hoodola!

The Hoodola pattern from designer Laura Nelkin hit Ravelry back in October, and the moment Vicki saw it, she knew she'd whip one out as a Haus sample! It's been in the shop since mid-November and goodness, y'all LOVE it; it quickly became a go-to Christmas knit recommendation. Vicki worked it up in Mismi from Mirasol*, which is 100% baby Alpaca sourced from the Peruvian Andes. It's almost irresistibly plush and soft and and comes in a range of gorgeous colors.

The construction of Hoodola is unique, and it's a super-satisfying knit. It starts at the top with Judy’s Magic Cast On, is then worked flat in stockinette with a little shaping down to the neck, joined in the round and then finished with ribbing until you decide it's the perfect length for you. It features an oversized fit that makes it a great alternative to hair-crushing late-winter hats!

Shop Mismi HERE! You'll need two skeins to whip up your own Hoodola.
