Welcome to Dollywool!

From the lovely Erin at Hinkston Handmade, a glorious self-striping sock yarn in all the shades of pink to celebrate the greatness that is Dolly. We love her! Dollywool is a custom color, made just for Haus and we're thrilled to add this one to our custom color offerings!

Sturdy Sock is an 80/20 blend of Merino wool and nylon. Containing a 21.5 Micron count, the wool is grown, sheared and processed in the US, and then blended with soft nylon to make a durable yarn that still maintains a gentle hand. Sturdy Sock is soft, sturdy and very elastic!

MDK Field Guide 28: Renewal + Austen Mitts

Field Guide 28: Renewal from Modern Daily Knitting has arrived! Featuring five designs from knitwear legend Norah Gaughan, this Field Guide includes five patterns: three cardigans and two clever accessories. We immediately cast on for a pair of the Austen Mitt. So characteristic of Norah’s endless fascination with cables, the Austen Mitts have a cable that splits into a thumbhole...so simple, yet so elegant!

The Austen Mitts are knit in Rowan Felted Tweed, a lightweight, hard-wearing blend of wool, alpaca, and viscose that's soft enough for garments. It makes a smooth, elegant fabric with fascinating tweedy flecks.

You'll need just ONE skein for your mitts! Choose your favorite skein of Rowan Felted Tweed HERE and grab your copy of Field Guide 28: Renewal HERE!

Patty Lyons | Workbook

One of the smartest, most engaging knitting instructors and writers working today has got to be Patty Lyons, who motivates her students and readers to really dig into the why of knitting. Knitting Bag of Tricks started out as a (always sold-out) class, then became a best-selling book, and now expands to a convenient workbook!

Use this spiral-bound book to track your progress through a series of exercises (yes, there is swatching!!!) and take note of what you learn about knitting as a craft - and your individual knitting style.

The workbook includes pages of adorable stickers drawn by noted knitter and illustrator Franklin Habit. The final section includes blank project note pages to help you plan your future knits.

Grab a copy of Knitting Bag of Tricks Workbook HERE! The release date is October 1st; any items ordered at the same time will ship with the Workbook after its released.
