Hinkston Handmade Trunk Show!
Nothing makes us happier than when we get to share a new (to us, at least!) yarn with you - except when it's a local-ish one -- in which case, we're not just happy. We're ecstatic.
We bumped into Erin of Hinkston Handmade and her gorgeous self-striping sock yarn at the Middle Tennessee Fiber Festival in Dickson back in March and almost fell all over ourselves trying to arrange a trunk show in (literally) the closing moments of the festival.
She was as excited as we were and we're thrilled to let you know that we've got a pretty full range of Erin's kaleidoscopically spectacular yarns in store right now! Erin will be with us in person THIS Friday and Saturday from 10am until 4pm! If you're local or in town for the Super Summer Knitogether retreat (!!!), pop in and see these gorgeous skeins IRL!

Hinkston Handmade Matchy Matchy Shiny Sock bundles contain two, 50g skeins of yarn. These two skeins are identical in their color progression so your socks (or mitts) match perfectly making you look like a genius! We have thirteen gloriously sparkly colors to choose from!
Shiny Sock is an 80/20 blend of Shaniko wool and nylon. Shaniko is a 100% traceable US wool sourced in a way that ensures the ethical treatment of animals as well as reducing its carbon footprint. The wool itself is a cross of Merino and Rambouillet, has excellent loft and is extremely sparkly...so give your project a bit of extra glitz and glam!

Hinkston Handmade Matchy Matchy Sturdy Sock bundles contain two 50g skeins of yarn. These two skeins are identical in their color progression so your socks (or mitts) match perfectly, making you look like a genius!
Sturdy Sock is an 80/20 blend of Merino Wool and nylon. Containing a 21.5 Micron count, the wool is grown, sheared and processed in the US, and then blended with soft nylon to make a durable yarn that still maintains a gentle hand. Sturdy Sock is soft, sturdy and very elastic...and we've got eleven colors for you to covet!
