Halloween Doodle Cowl
Now look. We warned you about our obsession with the Doodle pattern series from Jamie Lomax and that you'd probably see loads of them throughout 2023/2024...so as promised, here's a sweet, spooky Doodle cowl, fresh off Vicki's needles!
Vicki used motifs from both the Autumn Doodle Cowl and the Autumn Doodle Expansion chart pack for her customized spook-tacular version! Along with the icons she used, the various charts include pumpkins, fall leaves, coffee, acorns, ghosts and spiders! Mix and match all day long!
Vicki used Organic Eco Baby yarn from Laines du Nord, worked on a US 3 and US 4 needle with a 192st cast on.

But hold up...we've got a lot more to talk about when it comes to Halloweentime knitting!

Nope, still not done telling you about Pumpkinhead, because the patch was overflowing this year!
The second part of the Halloween haul that we scared up from Molly Klein consists of an adorable set of boo-tiful enameled progress keepers, a stunning set of six fingering mini-skeins and three different full-sized fingering skeins dyed in deep, rich shades: Ink, Royal and…Pumpkin Spice! The full skeins coordinate flawlessly with the mini-skeins. It’s almost like we planned it. Spoiler: we planned it.

YES, THERE'S A PART THREE!
Like we literally just said, the single skeins of Pumpkinhead pair up perfectly with the miniskein set. Our great friend Lisa worked up this Into the Waves cowl in a jiffy so we could prove it to you! She gets only treats this year...no tricks! Lisa's feedback on the pattern was "it's addictive" and she couldn't put it down!
Lisa used a single skein of Ink plus a mini-skein set. Did we lie? No, we did not lie. It's a perfect pairing!
