The Genie Cowl

Leah got a little head start preparing for "cowl season" and we're loving her finished Genie Cowl! She grabbed a solid, tonal skein in Rios from Malabrigo and paired it with a lighter skein of Dream State from Spincycle. If you've never tried stranded color work, we think this is an excellent project to give the technique a try!

New Notions That Measure Up!

We just unpacked a box of fantastic hand-stitched wool-blend felt tape measures and we can't stop fiddling with them! We're just walking around measuring everything.

This tape measure has a 60" high quality flexible vinyl tape that stays in place when pulled and retracts smoothly with the press of a button. Both metric and imperial measurements are clearly marked. 2¼" diameter x ¾" tall.

Shop them HERE!

But Wait! Morrrrrre Notions!

From apples and acorns to pumpkins and pinecones, these charming stitch marker sets perfectly represent the fall season. Autumn Harvest stitch markers are made by hand in California with Czech glass beads and enameled, resin and antique bronze charms. Each set consists of five ring stitch markers that fit up to a US10 needle and one removable progress keeper.

Socks for the Scary Season!

Who's ready for a little Halloween mischief? We think these Midnight Mischief socks might just be the perfect knit to kick off spooky season. Skulls, cats, bats, ghosts, evil eyes for protection and even a secret spider on the bottom...check, check & check! Everything but eye of newt!

For these, we're thinking Ultimate Sock in Pearl Ten and Natural from Malabrigo along with your choice of a contrasting mini from Katia United would be ideal for these cuties.
