Fresh Off Our Needles: The Oyinkan Shawl!

The Oyinkan Shawl from designer Kunbi Ayo-Okanlawon is a generously-sized asymmetric shawl with consistent stripes of garter stitches complimented by stunning lace panels. Rather than wool, we knit up a sample using Birdies Knits worsted cotton; it took three skeins of the tonal (amethyst) and two skeins of the speckled (Margaritas & Mistakes). We love the palette Birdie chose for us and so many of them are perfect for pairing...check them out here!
