Ranunculus - The Perfect Summer Sweater!

Ranunculus is a surprisingly quick project, knit at a very loose gauge with BIG needles. That combo gives a light and airy texture to this top-down pullover. Our sample is knit in Tussah Tweed from BC Garn -- a lovely, light fingering-weight yarn made with the silk of wild silkworms. It has a slightly slubby texture speckled with nubs of complementary colored silk and it's got a wonderful drape. We love this yarn for summer knitting -- and it's available in a palette of rich, earthy shades.

Two Brooklyn Tweed Trunk Shows!

Get inspired by not one, but two Brooklyn Tweed trunk shows on display now through July 29th! Summer may be in full swing, but it's a perfect time to get started on something now so you'll have it ready for snuggling this Winter! We have seventeen pieces on display, all knit in Peerie, Loft or Shelter. Two of our favorites: Sempervivum in Loft and the Lucerne hat knit in BT's newest yarn Peerie.

Fix-It Class!

Let's face it: we ALL make mistakes when we knit. We drop a stitch or forget a yarnover and don't see it until the next row...and sometimes we're not quiiiiite sure how to fix it! If this sounds a little too familiar to you, you need to take Sue's next class!

Saturday, July 28th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Call the shop to register: 615-354-1007

*There's homework required for this one; you'll find the details here.
