New Inspiration: The Sailor Stripe Shawl

The Sailor Stripe shawl, knit with flax from Fibra Natura, is a triangle comprised of two different-sized panels. The lace detail is worked on the first panel, then you'll pick up stitches along the angled increase edge and work panel two on the bias. Flax is a 100% linen yarn and blooms and softens beautifully with each trip through the washing machine.

For the shawl, you'll need seven skeins total: three skeins of color A (which will be your 'pop' of color) and four skeins of color B, a neutral. Or you could choose two complimentary colors from the color wheel -- the possibilities are endless! We've just recently received a restock -- you can check out all of the available colors here. Knit on a US 7 needle, this one will work up quickly!
