Crochet-Hey-Hey!

We think a big ol' stack of crochet face/dish cloths make perfect, quick gifts. And we happen to have two classes, one for the absolute beginner and one for the slightly more experienced crocheter on the schedule! Did you know that you can make cables with crochet stitches? Join Julie on Saturday, November 5th from 1-4pm and learn how to make post stitches and cable combinations. The only prior experience required is that you should already know how to chain, single crochet and double crochet.

Totally new to crochet? Take the absolute beginner class scheduled for Saturday, November 12th & 19th from 1-3pm and learn how to chain, single crochet and double crochet. Either class will give you the skills needed to crank out stacks of cloths perfect for gift giving! Call the shop to register, 615-354-1007

 

 

Super Quick Cowl!

We've been seeing quite a few of you in the shop lately, hunting for projects that work well for multiple knit-worthy recipients, and the Lorelei cowl is one that's at the top of our "quick holiday knits" project list. This one is worked in a super bulky yarn and can be knit up in an afternoon or less, so making multiples will be a breeze! Our sample -- knit in Junior from Katia -- is extra colorful, but it would also look great as a solid. We've only shown you three of the available nine colorways of Junior, so stop by the shop to see them all!

 

Free Needles...Always On Point!

Supporting your local yarn shop with both your presence and purchasing is vital in securing its status as a shared source of inspiration and community. When you purchase three addi® Rocket circular needles at Haus of Yarn, skacel will send you one free addi® Rocket circular in your choice of size/length. There is no limit to the number of free needles you can earn, so start building your collection today! This promotion is limited to in-store purchases only, through your authorized skacel addi® dealer (which would be us!)

Here are the details:

• For every three addi® Rocket fixed circular needles you purchase inside a North American LYS, you will receive one FREE addi® Rocket fixed circular needle of your choice by mail.
• The three addi® Rocket circulars may be obtained at different times and through different brick and mortar shops (online purchases excluded), but must be purchased between June 15th, 2016 and November 15th, 2016 to qualify. All requests need to be postmarked by November 30th, 2016.
• The original, shop-generated sales receipt/s clearly itemizing your addi® Rocket purchases and prices paid, must be submitted for each of the three needles – a single receipt containing multiple needles is acceptable. When it's time to get your free needles, you can download the necessary form here.
