NEW TO THE SHOP!

Fall shipments are beginning to arrive and one yarn we're thrilled to have is Cassowary from Queensland! It's a lovely wool/nylon blend that self-stripes in a gradient tonal. The nylon adds a touch of stability and durability to the wool, making it perfect for everything from socks to a shawl. The Lara Sock pattern is worked with just one cake and is a perfect intro to working from a charted pattern. Love the sock, but scared off by a chart? No worries! This pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the cabled cuff!

Flair!

Add a little flair to your project bags with a menagerie of new enamel pins that we just received! Would you say you knit at a snail's pace? Or do your needles fly crazy quick and sly like a fox? Do you love llamas as much as we do? Or...do you just HAVE A CAT? We’ve got pins for all of you! We’ve also got the exclusive-to-stores grey Fringe Field Bag (as well as all of their other colors) on which to pin them, just in case your project bag inventory is running a little low...

OLD RUSTED CHAIR'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

What are you doing on Saturday, September 8th? Help us celebrate Lauren, the super-talented lady behind Old Rusted Chair, who'll be celebrating her second anniversary as a full-time dyer! We've stocked Lauren's yarn since June of 2017 and feel incredibly lucky that she and her husband moved cross country to make Nashville their new home. Lauren's yarn is hand-dyed here in Music City and comes in a fantastic palette of variegates, tonals and speckles. Stay tuned for more details, but for now: just save the date! We'll be hosting Lauren in-store from 10am-4pm. She'll be bringing alllll her yarn (maybe even a new one!!), and there'll be new samples to eyeball. And cupcakes, always cupcakes.
